Death scares me.
That is the starting point.
To close my eyes and never open them again.
And hence this book.
What is death?
There is no society, territory, culture or era that has not asked itself this question. Death implies mystery, sadness, time… but also absurdity, festivity or indifference.
With this book I have tried to visually explore the edges of this concept that we all have in mind, although nobody really knows about it, from a personal and intimate point of view. More than answers, in this book I intend to ask questions, and explore what they mean through design and visual communication. Questions that try to bring us closer to death as what it is: an unknown.
